Easter Delivery...

A big truck came to the house today, it wasn't scheduled to come until Tuesday.

Out came the lumber to the top cap of the pond. Two each 2x12x12 and 2x12x16 safe for ponds, salt treated lumber.

I tried to move one by myself.

Then I found some nice people to move the rest.

Waiting on the RGB LED lights to come in and installed before the pond can be topped.

Beautiful Spring Morning...

Was going to do some work on the pond today, but woke up to SNOW!!!

Here are some pictures.

The new lighting, power system and server is up and running.

The pondSERVER runs a full version of Linux and controls the solar system, lights, DMX lights, pumps, filters, water level, pondCAM and does continuous water testing, which can be accessible from the web and app. The new server also alerts me if there is anything wrong with the pond/systems/water. The only power the pond uses from the grid is for the server, everything else works from the solar system and batteries located behind the pond, ontop of pondCAM and inside of "Lighthouse Trent".

The pond was uncovered today. Also, the outline of the patio was layed out.

Covered in a blanket of white...

 

Goodnight fish...

It's that sad time of year. Time to close the pond for the year. The lighthouse will still glow for a while, but will soon go to bed too.

Lighthouse came in 9-12-12 by UPS

 

The lighthouse is made out of polywood, and is a replica of Cape Henry in Virginia Beach, VA
